The hair on Hiro's neck began to rise, and with a final blow to Three his head turned on a swivel to look behind him...and for his face to be CAVED IN with a steel-chair shot from a follower of Blackjack! The top of the chair was driver into the side of his head and he fell down next to Three on the sticky ground, yelling out like an injured dog. His face was swelling quickly, and whether Three liked it or not this would certainly come to be a benefit to him as the match went on.

Any benefits gained by the assault on Hiro were negated as the small group of men encircled them both. They were here for Hiro initially. Three’s resurgence was a shock to them in many ways. The most impactful effect on these men was to confuse their allegiance. While Blackjack has never initiated a call to arms, or organized these men, they had viewed his anarchistic psychopathic rhetoric as holy scripture. They were fanatically loyal to Blackjack, and thus Three; though they did not understand why.

Three was disgusted by them. He rose to his feet, but rather than turn on Hiro, he faced off against the sons.

“Blackjack is dead. The next one of you who takes a swing at Hiro joins him.”

Confusion swept across the men. The son who had taken the first swing raised his chair and shouted. “You're lying! You're jealous that your apprentice surpassed you and you're trying to take his glory.”

The man looked at his compatriots. “Ignore the demon's words. If we kill him, Blackjack will return to us!” They nodded at each other, and one by one their resolve hardened. The leader turned and raised his chair to swing.

He was caught in the face with a thunderous punch that took him off his feet. Three was quickly overwhelmed by the other four men. A chair shot to the side of his head staggered him, another to his gut bent him over. They piled on him then, all four men swinging wild chair shots at Three’s back like they were hammering railroad spikes into concrete.

This had gone in a direction nobody could have ever expected. Hiro and The Number Three, both victims of the Twenty-One Sons in the moment. These Blackjack sycophants...they were probably going to be a problem for a while, not just in this match but for the world. As Three was cracked with his shots, a few were sent at Hiro's as well -- crushing his spine and causing him to flop around like a fish. Security would come rushing over to the area, the first point in this match where they'd been seen at all, and a wilder fight began -- authority vs rebellion.

Hiro attempted to crawl his way slowly across the sticky floor as away from Three and the brawl as he could...he was now a wounded animal, desperate to lick at his wounds.

Three sheltered himself from as much of the pummeling as he could. Hiro managed to crawl away from the haphazard dog pile that was far from Three’s mind at the moment.

The chairs continued to slap and slam against him as security struggled to drag the sons away. Frustration began to well up in Three. These misguided thugs were a result of Blackjack's Aura of Violence, and while desperate people; Three couldn't deny responsibility for them.

That frustration turned to anger, and Three had not been angry for a long time. The anger fuled him. With a roar Three shoved himself off the ground taking another couple chair shots, but these seemed to have less of an effect on him than the moment before.

He charged through the assault and clobbered a son, sending him toppling over the guardrail towards the ring. Three ripped the chair from another son's grip and hit the man hard enough to dent the seat. Security had the rest handled, but Three was searching for more sons, ignoring the target he should probably have been focusing on.

Hiro had managed to get away enough from the brawling, having not been followed as between the security crunch and the fixation on Three he had become a swift afterthought. A kind fan offered Hiro a hand, another coming through as well -- and they helped him back to his feet as his body struggled to keep itself up as those chairshots were plenty stiff. He thanked them, and for a moment...he felt as though he should go back to the mess that had developed. He stared over at The Number Three beginning to fight back at the sons and forcing them off of him. He cracked one, sent another flying, and security was finally able to do their job...but it didn't look like Three was hunting Hiro in that second. The Ethnic Enigma, his natural desire to keep things right -- to not run away, it was consuming him. However, to the surprise of the fans and himself, he turned and began to walk along the opened area for the production crew, heading towards the backstage area as it seemed he was more interested in bringing Three to him...perhaps where there would be less intervention from unwanted folks.

Three's eyes tracked the sons, watching them as they were all finally subdued. It was only once the cacophony settled that Three’s mind returned to the match. He scanned around him, expecting an attack at any moment. It is, after all, what he would have done. No attack came, and Three’s senses spread out around him.

He noticed the throng of fans cheering and roaring in delight as Hiro passed them by. He watched until finally he spotted his opponent, sneaking off, rushing back stage; either to escape or set an ambush. Three tossed the damaged chair aside, and climbed over the railing back to ringside. He stopped long enough to grab the discarded kendo stick.

Climbing onto the announcers table he took a headset from JR and spoke into the microphone.

“Run little piggy piggy, the big bad wolf is coming.”

Tossing the headset aside, Three stepped over King and JR, onto the guardrail behind them, and then onto the fan’s shoulders. Amidst cries and shouts Three ran along the fans, not seeming to care who he stepped on…

It wasn't until he was halfway towards the backstage entrance when his footing became too unstable and the fans beneath him collapsed. Three fell into a heap with the crowd below him, and yet somehow managed to come barreling out the pile, closing the distance on his opponent.

Hiro had no idea what hell was following him closely as Three had realized he was heading backstage. He didn't hear what he'd had to say to the fans at home, he didn't know he was literally walking upon the heads of the people Hiro knew were relying on him -- relying on him to justify their faith in him. The thought of everything weighed heavy on Hiro, and as he finally got through to an open area backstage from the crowd, he had found himself at catering. That is where he found himself a bottle of beer -- and he grabbed it, twisting off the cap and taking a quick sip of it. He looked over at the tables and at down in a chair, facing where he'd came from. A camera man arrived to give the world a view of where he'd gone. What they saw was a tired man, sipping a bear, bruised and breathing heavy but waiting for his demons to come to him.

Three moved through the crowd as fluidly as he'd moved over them. They parted before his charge like the red sea parted for Moses. He reached the backstage area and stopped, scanning the hallways for his prey. He turned and burst through the doorway leading to the green room where catering had been set up for the crew. Three spotted Hiro, catching his breath and a sip of suds, he smirked and pointed the stick towards him.

“Are we already getting tired? Do you need a union mandated break?”

Hiro's heavy breathing was causing the beer to go down painfully, his throat hurting a bit with every swig. It was when Three had finally joined him that Hiro was back to tensing up. Three cracked a joke about unions, but Hiro couldn't find it in him to laugh right now. "Nothing is mandated here -- I can't even get my mandated opponent to show up and fight me on the grandest stage of them all. Wrestlemania has only ever been good for me once, I may need to start sitting these out after I win." he quipped as he stood up and began walking towards Three, taking another swig of the beer. The fans were finally getting the chance to correct themselves as they turned to the titantron to watch what was unfolding as the two were facing each other once more.

Three made a mock pouting face and whined in an infantile voice. “Oh boo hoo, you got catfished.” He shrugged and continued on in his normal tone. “Happens to everyone. If it helps…

Blackjack really was fond of you. Stabbing you in the back and taking your BBW title was about as close to an expression of love as he could manage.

He even has this whole murder suicide fantasy he wanted to enact with you tonight.

Me though. I just wanna beat you real bad, then a little ritual magic and you'll take my spot in hell.”

Three raised the kendo stick into the air and brought it down with all the poise and skill of a trained kendo master, aiming to smash the stick over Hiro's left shoulder.

What Hiro was thinking walking up to a man holding a Kendo Stick so nonchalantly, not even he knew. Though as Three spoiled for him what was going to happen if he'd continued his fight with Blackjack, he dropped an ever bigger bombshell -- if Hiro lost this match, if he quit, he'd be going to hell in place of the demon before him. The Ethnic Enigma was given no chance to react as the kendo stick was violently swung; it hit him square in the shoulder, a feeling he was reminded of from his youth participating in kendo at school. Three didn't have the respect of screaming for him to show the attack however. Instead, it cracked his left shoulder and Hiro nearly stumbled down but instead lashed out in anger with the beer bottle in his hand, looking to smash it across the side of Three's head and spit out the beer in his mouth all over the impact spot in a flail swoop of pained defiance!

Three registered Hiro's resistance to the strike. He would have been impressed at Hiro’s ability to withstand that blow, had Hiro not immediately smashed a beer bottle against his head. Unlike stunt glass that is meant to shatter in a spectacular way, real bottles were highly impact resistant.

That did not stop this bottle from shattering against There's horned skull. He was showered with beer, both from the now broken bottle, but again as Hiro doused him with a mouthful of sudsy stinging liquid.

The beer mist was more psychological than not, sure the fresh gash that oozed sticky black blood burned from the alcohol. But that was a minor pain compared to the near concussion Three received, or the gash? Did I mention the gash?

Nearly two inches long it tore his flesh open from just below his horn, over his cheek, stopping just above his cheekbone.

Three staggered backwards holding his head and growling out the pain. His vision split and doubled for a moment, the images fusing back together while the floating white spots continued their merry dance.

Hiro let out an angered scream as dropped the neck of the bottle in his hands, thankfully avoiding and serious cuts from the glass. His arm was stinging, going a little numb, the kendo stick shot catching him in the perfect spot. He did do a truckload of damage in the moment to Three however, which was what he was hoping to accomplish, though perhaps these were not the means he'd initally intended on relying on to do so. He attempted to drive a hard blow into the gash near the horn of Three, attempting to open it up wider while getting some of his disgusting black blood on his knuckles -- a source of heat and one that surely made Hiro queezy. He'd have to put up with the feeling however, as it was now or never to deal the damage and get Three to quit.

Hiro's blow landed home, a second wave of pain washed over Three’s head; this time, taking him down to a knee. Arms shot up as he grabbed the side of his head, shielding himself from further blows as he started blocking out the pain to make a speedy recovery.

"I haven't put anyone on the ground in what feels like a long..." Hiro cracked Three with a slap to the back of the head as he spoke, wanting to get him just a little more jarred. "LONG time...and for it to be you, in this position, at this time...I definitely feel something that was dorment." Hiro would attempt to lift Three back to a verticle base and begin guiding him to a table close by, hoping to slam his face down into the plates and napkins that were there for those in catering!
